FACTS

1. Free U or cable lock, helmet, map, panniers & repair kit.

2.  Credit card required.

3. There are no facilities on the 11 mile-long paved Coastal Trail.  All bikes have water bottle cages.  Bottled water sold for 95¢ at our store. Anchorage has great tap water.  Fill your own container from tap before you leave.  Bathrooms and drinking fountain at Kincaid Park. (End.)  Almost every bike has a rack to carry things.  We have a large inventory of panniers, side saddle sacks and bungee cords.  A few backpacks are available if you pick a bike without a rack.  Free.

5. Free flat tire repair kit. (Pump, tire irons, patches or tube.) (One per group/family.)

6. Wildlife our renters see on Anchorage's greenbelt bike paths in order of frequency: Moose, eagles, porcupines, beavers, owls, fox, and beluga whales.
